Ive been speaking with a few other guys on getting SuSe 10.1 xgl to work properly with ATI cards, so far, I have tried on a 9700 pro, 9700 (mobile) 9000, x800 gto, and X850 xt pe, and it only has worked properly on the x850xt pe. In all other instances, when you complete the final stages and reboot to take effect, you lose all control of windows, therefore rendering the whole thing useless (until you remove a few commands, which can be difficult without being able to properly navigate through the OS. Anyways, I should have a “how to” up by this weekend, in the meantime I have some other things coming shortly for you.
