23 05 2009

Real quickie here, Crossloop, an open source app that I *Highly* praise, developed by a great group of guys/gals, is now on Mac, and is backwards compatible. So you can do support for someone on a PC from your mac, or vice versa. If you don’t know what Crossloop is, check them out at www.crossloop.com

Did you know that there are some other sites also, which work with Mac / PC and even linux. Webex, gotomypc ofcourse, but my favorite is showmypc.com . You get in, connect, and get out. Simple. I have been helping my Uncle who lives in Canada numerous time. Before that, I had to be on the phone for hours with him to fix his stuff. Now, a quick phone call, and then I am in his computer.

Hi David,
Would you be interested in checking out a free remote support and web conferencing app? The app is Mikogo and it includes a remote keyboard/mouse control feature plus it allows you to share your screen with up to 10 people for online meetings. Very easy and free for commercial use.
It would be great if you would drop by our site http://www.mikogo.com and check out our app. Feel free to contact me for further info.

Cheers!
