My name is David, Ive been actively involved with the IT/Consulting/Advertising & Marketing industry for about 16 years now, but have been using applied technology and computers for a very long time . I frequent many online forums including, but not limited to: Deviantpc , [RIP] xtremeresources.com , xtremesystems.com, overclockers.com, digg.com, jinxforums, Cnet, and quiet a few more . I no longer own my IT firm, and am now running a large Consulting/Advertising firm. I have served in the ARMY, which helped me go to college, where I earned two Bachelors and recently my MS-CS with an understudies in Computer Security. I still (but much less frequently) write articles and perform reviews for several large syndicates, websites and media broadcasters. Well when I have free time, I am a complete adrenaline junkie, from skydiving, to free-diving, free-climbing, spear fishing, and enjoying learning new things in life.
I walked straight off the page of a Tom Clancy novel with his Special Forces background in the US Army, where I acquired unique skills in human interpretation and anazlyzation. Following my military service I received his BS in Business Management , and later my Masters in Computer Science from USC with an understudies in computer security. I started my first consulting business in 2001 and after acquiring an impressive clientele list with such companies as Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Coca-Cola, Prudential Realty, and Frito-Lay, I sold my company in 2003 to Sequoia Capital.
I was personally invited to Silicon Summit at Stanford University to meet and consult with Ted Waitt (2006 CEO of Gateway Computers), and Bill Gates himself (Microsoft), which was hosted by Tom Brokaw on MSNBC. I have also been contracted for Kevin Rose creator of Digg.com (Revision 3) and worked on the “Pownce” project (which became the forefather of today’s Twitter). I excel in creative and unique ways to target any demographic online, on Tv, or with my crazy, daunting guerilla marketing tactics.
I have won a Webby Honoree award for interactive advertising and have a proven history of taking startups and turning them into highly profitable companies. I’m currently grounded in California, but Id rather be in Dubai…

Hello
I’m interested what systems/OS you use.
Great space btw.
Greetz
Heya Tomovich,
thanks for the comment
. I use all OS’s pretty much, linux (Slueth, Knoppix STD, SuSe 10.1, Dreamlinux, unix, Mac OS 9, Mac OSX, Windows XP pro, Windows XP media center ed, Palm OS, Pocket PC, Windows Tablet Ed. Id have to admit, that SuSe 10.1 and Knoppix STD, are probably my favorite OS’s, followed by Mac OS x, then Windows XP, and the only reason I use Windows Xp is for gaming pretty much, and a few apps here and there. I use a Macbook pro for all mac apps, and I think Ill end up getting a Intel Mac Desktop system soon as well, since Ive been pleased with Macs since I picked up my old powerbook about 2 years ago.
Sweeet site! As an old hand in unix I would have to recommend that users who feel a need to change, to give ubuntu a try. A free OS shipped to you for free.
Hey David,
This is Ryan. I met you at IKEA while we wait 9 years to get our replacement parts. I’ve been nice and busy with my kid, but i just wanted to drop a line. Nice little site you got going on here. Sorry about all the junk youve been going through, but as im sure you know, what doesnt kill us makes us stronger. When the pain subsides you will realize that challenges in your life that you used to struggle with, will now be blown apart by the strength you have achieved. And those around you will be supported and pulled up by the pillar of strength that you will become.
Look forward to waxing intellectual with you, we had a good discussion there in IKEA. Drop me a line.
Have a nice day !
I HAD A PROBLEM WITH WGATRAY.EXE. I READ ADVICE ON HOW TO GET RID OF IT. IT INVOLVED REGEDIT ETC. AND SEEMED TO REQUIRE A NUMBER OF RESTARTS (MY COMPUTER TAKES FOREVER TO REBOOT). I PULLED UP THE TASK MANAGER, CLICKED ON THE PROCESS TAG, LOCATED WGATRAY.EXE… I RIGHT CLICKED WGATRAY, AND SET THE PRIORITY TO LOW. I THEN RESTARTED MY MACHINE. I HAVEN’T HAD IT REAPPEAR SINCE.
