I’ve been receiving about 5x the mail from my ISP about downloading illegal content, the email and letter in the mail go as follows (with certain information obviously withheld):

“Dear Charter Internet Subscriber:

Charter Communications (“Charter”) has been notified by a copyright owner, or its authorized agent, that your Internet account may have been involved in the exchange of unauthorized copies of copyrighted material (e.g., music, movies, or software). We are enclosing a copy of the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) notice that Charter received from the copyright holder which includes the specific allegation.

Under the DMCA, copyright owners have the right to notify Charter’s register agent if they believe that a Charter customer has infringed on their work(s). When Charter receives a complaint notice from a copyright owner, Charter will notify the identifiable customer of the alleged infringement by providing them a copy of the submitted DMCA notice. As required by law, Charter may determine that the customer is a repeat copyright infringer and reserves the right to suspend or terminate the accounts of repeat copyright infringers.

I was shocked to see that on the bottom of the MSN default page, that in tiny little words, they are still offering dial-up. With satellite from such companies such as Hughes Network (which completely sucks btw), but still its faster than dial-up.

WordPress Down for 48 hours

As you may or may not have noticed but on Nov 3-4th 2009, wordpress servers were down, providing minimal functionality, when I say minimal I mean that you could actually get into your dashboard, but you couldn’t perform any tasks. Anyways, it’s (obviously) back up and running.

BLURAY missing Digital Copy Codes…

I’ve been buying (hey hey, still “borrowing” copies too) a lot of BLURAY discs lately, and like any other typical guy, I threw out all the spam advertisement paper that falls out of the Bluray disc case. Until today, this didn’t present any type of problem, then I found out that the only way to activate my “Digital Copy” and transfer it to itunes, is to type in a code that was on that piece of paper. Wow…seriously, just wow. Some retard in the printing and press department , and digital rights management should be fired. First off, nobody opening a bluray most likely reads that the piece of paper that falls out is important, second, in *fine* print, you can only access the digital copy for a period of time, usually a year. If I buy it…*I* bought it, and it’s mine.

Enough griping, I need digital codes for the following movies, I need to “borrow” it. I’ve already done a google search to no avail. Thanks for helping out:

I have a brand new solution for Disabling Windows Vista (All versions) genuine notifications and disabling the timer if your copy is about to expire. Also new patches/cracks/hacks for Windows XP, to remove the newer Genuine notifications. It has been compiled from several authors and can effectively eliminate all worries about Microsoft notifications and countdown timers. You can validate Windows and update just as normal too I’ll do my best to post tonight!
