Photoshop: Rose With Color

By adding a slight blur to the background, and increasing hues in selected regions of the dying rose, it makes the rose almost “pop out”, although I later saw some errors I left in this image.

Hopefully I’ll find the time to also add some Photoshop techniques, although, I wouldn’t say Im an expert like some of the guys I know.

{Edit} – Some people are saying this comes out as having a very high color pitch to it, if you don’t see the roses in “full” color, but rather as extremely bright, you need to adjust your Contrast (lower it) on your LCD/Monitor, this was created on a 10,000:1 Contrast Plasma, and appears fine under default viewsonic, sony, adobe, and Apple Studio color profiles .
